relatively few birds it seems. We hear a Coal tit (Tannenmeise) and Robins (Rotkehlchen)

that was a bike, and a runner. That's also what is nature to many. A thing to use for self care, sports, and other "service functions".

The weather here for the last few days has been sunny but the air is still cold. But birds are very active. Those cries in the background are wild peacocks - an import from the British Empire. There is a large reed bed about 1km away where biterns and other marsh creatures live. The bittern 'boom' (it's call) carries a long distance.

There are close footsteps in the dead leaves - could be deer or a phesant, a fox or a person. But this is away from any human path.

Yes, closeness of some bird and the distance of other plus the forest reverb is incredibly spatial. Birds would never come this close if you were there in person making recordings
